In poker, players can sit anywhere between two to nine people. However, six or eight players is ideal. During the game, a player’s bets are collected into the pot, or “pot”. A player wins the pot if he has the best poker hand, or makes a bet that no other player calls. A player’s bets can be as small as one cent.
